Summer Scorcha 2008

Summer Scorcha is the name the East Riding of Yorkshire Council (EYRC) gives to a full, wide and varied range of childrens activities provided over the school summer holidays each year across the East Ridings and wider Yorkshire.

While most of these activities are not directly run by the EYRC, they act as a central collection and publishing point providing information via their events website and publish and distribute (via schools) the annual Schools Out brochure of events.

A great deal of events are discounted and/or very low cost. For further information visit the EYRC events website at: http://www.eastriding.gov.uk/events/Events.aspx. There are many, many pages filled with events so don't forget to use the search options on the left to limit the information you see. In particular, use the brochure drop down and select either Summer Scorcha 2008 or Schools Out 2008.
